The Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA) is America’s oldest and largest registry for pure-bred domestic cats. Founded in 1886, the CFA recognizes more than 2 million registered cats in the U.S. and Canada. Through the CFA’s national cat show circuit, breeders and exhibitors are provided educational and social opportunities for the purpose of promoting the sport of pure-bred cat showing and conformation. The annual CFA national shows and various regional, state, local and specialty shows offer the opportunity for new exhibitors and new cats to be evaluated for the CFA Championship and breed title awards. The CFA is an affiliate of the AKC.

For your cat's health and well being we encourage you to visit a veterinarian and make sure they are healthy.

The best advice we have is to start with a kitten. At first a kitten does not care about anything but eating, sleeping and relieving itself. As time goes on and the kitten gets a little older it can learn and care for itself.

We would like to help. If you are unsure about anything then please contact us.

The Cat Fanciers' Association is a nonprofit organization that recognizes breeders of quality purebred domestic cats. Membership in the CFA is open to cat breeders and exhibitors. A license from the CFA is required for any person who is to be allowed to exhibit cats in CFA sanctioned cat shows.

The CFA has grown tremendously in the past decade to include more than 3 million registered cats in North America. Approximately 350,000 of these cats are judged at CFA sanctioned cat shows and championships. These shows are held in more than 10 countries across the United States. In addition to judging cats, the CFA also hosts a world-class purebred cat championship show.

The CFA also hosts many community events and fundrsers throughout the year. If you would like to learn more about what the CFA has to offer, we encourage you to visit their website at:

Why are people concerned about cat overpopulation?

Cats are one of the most popular and domesticated animals in the world. The most widely held belief is that the domestic cat is a naturally shy animal. However, research shows that the domestic cat is actually very social. The cats I’ve been around have a natural curiosity about everything going on in their world and a love of people.

Cats have many special qualities including being able to communicate with each other through body language, and communicating with people through purring, grooming and playing. Many people also believe that cats keep rodents and bird populations in check. Domestic cats are also an important source of natural fertilizer for gardens.

As cats grow older they are more vulnerable to diseases. The number of older cats is rising as more people live longer and take better care of their pets. Because the population of cats is so large, there are also many abandoned, sick and homeless cats in the world. This makes cat shelters more crowded.

Why do people care about helping cats in need?

People have a deep connection with cats. Cats have been caring for people for as long as there have been people. People of all cultures and fths have created ways to feed and care for their pets.

Most of us like having pets. We think of cats and dogs as members of our family. People want to protect their animals from health problems, unwanted pregnancies, or becoming homeless. People want to help their pets live as long and happy lives as possible. We want our pets to live long and comfortable lives.

When cats and dogs are left alone, they often become lonely and depressed. Cats and dogs are part of the family. They should be part of the everyday life of the people they are living with.

People who care about the welfare of cats and dogs have the power to make a difference. Together, we can help the cats and dogs in our community. Together, we can find them homes. Together, we can improve the welfare of all animals. Together, we can start the change that we all want to see.

How to Start Helping Cats

There are many ways to help the cats in need. The following are just some of them:
